Voice call privacy notice
Last updated: 2026-04-18 — MVP launch.
What we collect during a /call voice session
- Your spoken audio — streamed to our server and to Google's
Gemini Live API in real time. The audio is used to transcribe your question
and synthesize Anjali's spoken reply. We do not store raw audio after the call
ends unless you opt into divergence audit (off by default).
- Transcripts — text of what you asked and what Anjali said
back. Stored for 90 days in our Azure Table Storage under your session ID.
- Chart data — computed from the birth details you entered
on the calculate page. Used to ground Anjali's answers. Same retention as
the rest of your RasiTalks chart storage.
- Timing + flags — per-turn latency, which safety categories
triggered (if any), and whether the call ended normally. Aggregated for
reliability metrics, never linked to an external identity.
Who can see it
- You, for the duration of the session (visible in the call pane).
- Google, through the Gemini Live API. Their
usage terms apply to that leg.
- OpenAI, when Anjali invokes the chart-reading tool. Their API
enterprise privacy terms apply.
- Us, for debugging and for the weekly quality audit (10 random calls / week).
How to delete your data
After a call, the Delete transcript button on the post-call pane
removes all stored turns for that call immediately. The deletion is hard — not a
soft delete — and takes effect within seconds.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your audio or transcripts.
- We do not train models on your conversations.
- We do not use your voice for any feature other than the /call session it
was spoken in.
